Abstract

Cow's Milk Protein Allergy/Intolerance (CMPA/CMPI), due to immunologic hypersensitivity to one or more milk proteins, includes several clinical presentations. We report three unusual cases of CMPA/CMPI, illustrating uncommon and misinterpreted clinical features, with the purpose to provide further evidence of the variety of CMPA/CMPI presentations in infancy. Our study shows that extreme care in assessing the clinical and feeding history of the patient is extremely important for the prompt and correct diagnosis of CMPA/CMPI in infants.
