A TiO2/NiO/Al2O3 hybrid with Ti3+ sites and -OH groups was successfully synthesized by performing a facial in situ topotactic transformation of NiAlTi-LDH. The optimized sample exhibited a high CH4 formation rate of 41.34 μmol g-1 h-1 with nearly 76.8% selectivity in photocatalytic conversion of diluted CO2.
