The data of 15 surgical cases who underwent type A and type B tympanic paragangliomas resections using a complete transcanal approach under otoscopic endoscopy in plasma mode from January 2021 to February 2024 at Senior Department of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, the 6th Medical Center of Chinese PLA General Hospital were retrospectively analyzed. Among the 15 patients, 3 were male and 12 were female, with a mean age of (43±11) years. All the cases achieved complete resection of the tumors under the plasma hemostasis mode. The mean operative time was (51±7) min. No sensorineural deafness was observed postoperatively in any of the patients. The current study indicates that the innovative surgical modality for treating various types of tympanic paragangliomas can achieve complete tumor resection with minimal or no bone grinding in an almost bloodless state, demonstrating high efficacy and safety profile.
本研究回顾性分析了2021年1月至2024年2月解放军总医院第六医学中心耳内镜下完全经耳道入路等离子模式切除A和B型鼓室副神经节瘤手术的效果和安全性。共纳入15例患者，其中男3例，女12例，年龄（43±11）岁。肿瘤切除均在等离子止血的模式下完成，手术时间为（51±7）min，患者均实现肿瘤完全切除。所有患者术后未见感音神经性耳聋。研究结果提示该手术模式处理鼓室副神经节瘤具有较好的安全性和有效性。.
