Abstract

Tissue sampling is a reliable and effective way to establish a multitude of diagnoses. Advancements in technology and technique have allowed for less-invasive biopsies to be safely performed in the ambulatory setting. This article highlights essential considerations for performing biopsies on muscle, artery, and nerve tissues when performed in the office setting and reviews pertinent clinical points.
