Abstract

Tandem kinase proteins (TKPs) - a key subclass of kinase fusion proteins (KFP),act as crucial resistance factors in Poaceae by forming immune hubs with non-canonical NLRs. Pathogen-triggered conformational changes enable effector sensing and defense activation, highlighting TKP-NLR co-evolution and guiding broad-spectrum resistance engineering.
