Abstract

The chondrolabral junction is defined as the cartilage of the transition zone on the acetabulum within 5 mm of the labral attachment point. Chondrolabral junction injury can lead to limitation of hip movements such as flexion and rotation, and may cause clinical problems such as pain, hip instability, and secondary joint degeneration. This article summarizes studies on the outcomes of arthroscopic surgery for chondrolabral junction injuries, comparing the surgical efficacy and prognostic differences among various types of chondrolabral junction lesions. The analysis of chondrolabral junction injuries and the assessment of their predictive value provide a reference for the development of surgical protocols and postoperative rehabilitation plans.
