JACC Case Rep. 2025 Jul 9;30(18):104009. doi: 10.1016/j.jaccas.2025.104009.

Abstract

Fluid overload-associated large B-cell lymphoma (FO-LBCL) is a rare and novel subtype of large B-cell lymphoma, typically characterized by effusions in the body cavity. We report, for the first time, the clinical features and treatment strategies of 3 patients with FO-LBCL who presented with massive pericardial effusion as the first and primary manifestation.

Keywords: cardiac tamponade; fluid overload-associated large B-cell lymphoma; pericardial effusion; treatment.
